GALEN health institute in SAN ANTONIO

Hello all!

I'm scheduled to start the LVN day program on November 3rd at Galen in San Antonio.
I'm excited and looking forward to getting it all started, but was curious if there was anyone on here that is currently attending or has previously attended Galen and what are/were your experiences?
How was the faculty?
Were clinicals decent? And where all are they held at?
Was the overall experience at Galen yay or nay?

Just interested in others' opinions! Thanks!

Hi how's the program so far at Galen? I'm thinking of joining the next class and just want an opinion.. Did you take the ACT SAT or their admission test? If you did take their admission test, how was it?

I went to Galen in 2006 and I think they did a good job at giving me the tools and education need for my nursing career. Now they also have a program for LVN to RN. I am not sure about that program b/c it's still pretty new in San Antonio, but I can say for sure, the LVN program is great. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Check out the NCLEX pass rates for the school compared to others at the Texas Board of Nursing site.
