Do you mean TCU? I didn't think TWU had a CRNA program. Maybe I'm wrong, do they have one now?

Texas Weslayan - known around these parts as Weslayan as opposed to Texas Womans University or TWU. TWU does not have a CRNA program, but Weslayan does in conjunction with TCU.


I worked at Big Harris downtown - great place, and I the benefits and retirement at Texas health resource facilities are far batter than just about any other system around. They have dependant tuition reimbursement which may help you out with YOUR school expenses.

Texas Health Resources is a large hospital system with 13 hospitals in the D/FW area, including Harris Methodist Hospital in FW, Harris Methodist HEB in Bedford (a nearby suburb) and Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington. Once employed by the "THR" system, you can transfer to any other hospital and still keep your benefits, etc. I think the pay is very good.

As for child care, Harris downtown has child care center off campus but nearby. I forget the name of it, but I'm sure if you call Human Reources or just the hospital information (817) 882-2000, they'll be able to tell you.

not to be snarky, but Wesleyan's program for CRNA is NOT in conjunction with TCU. as a matter of fact, Wesleyan's program was created first, TCU learned from them.............sorry, my husband works for Wesleyan, so I'm defending on his behalf. Go Rams!

At some point in the past the two programs held hands - or something - I don't recall how - does TCU have it's own program now? They didn't used to.

Texas Wesleyan helped TCU build their program. TCU's program is relatively new......less than 5 years old, I think

I checked TCU's website - they just graduated the first class so it's really new!

I'm glad to know that TCU offers the CRNA program as well.... nothing against Texas Wesleyan, but it's nice to have other options!!
