Evenings courses for nursing program?-North Texas

I am attending Collin County right now taking just pre-reqs, but I was wondering if any of the colleges around here have evening nursing programs? I know Collin County does not... Anyone know? Are they all daytime?

NCTC in Gainsrville has a weekend/online LVN course. That is the only one I know of in the north Texas area that is not daytime.
Good Luck on it

I don't know of any RN programs that offer evening classes in the DFW area.

Concorde Career Institute, located in Arlington, offers an evening LVN program.

Weatherford College just began offering a night/weekend RN program starting in the spring. The lecture courses are offered 2-3 days in the evenings during the week and all clinicals are on Saturdays. The application period is during the summer and classes will begin in January. Let me know if you have any other questions about it. I will be attending orientation for the program on Friday and will have more information.

When is the Weatherford College informational session? I would really like more information on that, but I live in Plano. Thanks!

I could not find any info on the internet about Weatherford's RN program.
I was curious about it also. I live in lewisville and per map quest it would
be a 1 1/2 hour drive each way with no traffic. A little too far for me to
drive. But a very interesting sounding program.

Hi,
Weatherford does not have an information session. You can contact the department secretary for an info packet on their program. They don't post a lot of info on their website. I believe the next application period will be Dec-Feb. It's a great school and I am really looking forward to being a part of it.
