Del Mar College. One of the hardest programs to get in to?

I've heard that their RN program is one of the hardest in the state to get accepted into. Is this true?Has anyone ever been denied from this program and had to apply elsewhere?

What makes it so much harder than any others? Schools around here are turning down students with 4.0 GPAs because they have too many with 4.0s applying. That seems hard to me...

I got in in '00 with a 3.6, but I don't know what it's like now.
