Councilers

Just curious - how often do you meet with your school's counciler about your path to NS? I've been taking pre-reqs since 2004 at TCC (only taking 1 class each semester), and I've only met with a counciler once. That was back when I desided I wanted to be a nurse and had no idea where to start. He gave me a run down on the pre-reqs I needed and suggested the order I take them.
Any reason why I should be speaking with one more often?

As long as you know what the pre-reqs are I don't think it would be necessary. If you have specific questions about the admissions requirements or the program itself, sure make an appointment. Otherwise, I don't think meeting with a counselor just for some extra face time is going to help improve your chances of being admitted. It is all about the numbers and sometimes an interview or admissions test. Just keep doing your classes and make as many A's as possible and then apply when you can. Good luck to ya!
