I am finishing up nursing school here at tamucc and there have several local representatives come to our Student Nurses Association (SNA) meetings to recruit us. I'm headed to Houston so I haven't really looked around here but those that recruited were Driscoll Children's Hospital, Padre Behavioral (psych facility), and the Spohn system (big general hospitals). So based on that I would suspect there are job prospects for nurses. Good luck! I have really enjoyed my time in Corpus.
