CNA in Houston

Hi everyone! I am a pre-nursing student and was wondering if any of you could give me some advice.

I am looking at possibly getting my CNA license while working toward nursing school and was wondering if this would be a good step to take. Does anyone know if there are places out there that will pay for my training if I work for them afterwards? Also, what is the pay rate for CNA's in Houston?

Thanks for your help!!
