CNA Dallas

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how they got their CNA certification in the Dallas area. I am looking to become a CNA while in nursing school. Thanks for the help!

I went to a nursing home in the hurst area, where they were holding training classes. I believe it lasted for about 3 weeks, and I got paid for it, I think it was about $6.50/hr x 40 hrs a week. Sure beat paying to get certified. This was probably in 2003

I'm in my last week of CNA training in Dallas. Then you take two weeks off and test with the state at the nursing home where you trained at. Or atleast thats what my school does. The class tuition, scrubs, bp cuff, and stethoscope came to $500...not too shabby.
