The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders - Fort Worth

I just got an interview for research coordinator (YAY!) at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Fort Worth. I am really excited because this is the first research coordinator interview I have gotten. (Background: I am a second degree nurse, first degree psychology, who has worked in the ICU for 1 year now. Before nursing I worked as a research assistant in a lab for 3 years, mostly animal-model based studies.)

Is anyone familiar with the facility from a research or clinical staff perspective. I've gone to their website to learn more about them, but I was just wondering if anyone here has had any first hand experience with them.

Thanks in advance!

I have experience with the facility from a patient perspective. My father was treated by one of the founding partners for several years. The fact that I am 40 years old and decided to pursue a second degree in nursing partly because of the care he received from the entire staff should speak volumes. Their (relatively) new facility on Magnolia is amazing. I don't have one bad thing to say about the Center. Good luck!
