Hello Twix! Welcome to allnurses!

One of my daughter's is an LPN living in TX. She did tell me once before that LPNs work in dialysis centers where she lives. She's thinking about it herself. Wish you well on your move and next job!

Hi TWIX !

Most dialysis facilities do employ LPNs along with RNs... and PCTS.

There might be a few states which do not, but I would say those are very few.

Where I work, (Virginia) we have two LPNs... they do everything but charge and/or take orders.

Wish you the best !:Melody:

If assistive dialysis technicians are allowed to be employed at dialysis centers without any nursing license whatsoever, them I'm quite sure that LVNs would be allowed to work there, too.

Yes, one of my classmates in VN school was a worker in a dialysis center, without prior medical experience or license/cert. They have offered her a LVN position there when she graduates for $16-17/hr.
