Congrats KM. I got into MV also for the fall. I was initially disapointed, BH was where I have done all my pre-reqs and support courses. Plus, it is 18 miles closer to my house. The day I got the confirmation e-mail, I couldn't stand it and drove (after I looked it up on a map) down to MV to check out the their new Allied Health building. All I have to say is I was blown away. Their skills lab is state of the art. There are plenty of beds and dumbies, including the fully automated dumbies that simulate a patients symptoms. I didn't get a chance to meet any of the instructors but I am heading down there tonight for an information session. The session is geared towards those who are interested in the whole proccess but I hope to get a few questions answered. I'll let you know if I find out anything new.

I have a question, I have all of me prereqs completed along wit basically all of my core courses, but I only have 3 out of 8 support classes complete. Would I have a good chance of getting in this spring?

Hard to say. Depends on several factors. I am not sure what the lowest # was that got in for this fall but I heard that last spring's number was around 28. If you had a really high HESI II score and if the three classes you have done are worth 2 points apiece, maybe. Also depends on who you are going up against. I would go ahead and apply, you might get lucky or at least you will have your three points for applying next time. Good luck.

Brookhaven is off of my list because I would have to take 5 CLASSES before I can even have a good chance of getting in, but thank you so much for the info!
