Baylor nursing program

Can anyone tell me the average overall GPA and science GPA that gets admitted to the Baylor program? I'm thinking about applying for the spring semester, but have no idea what is needed to have a chance. I would be a transfer student (from out of state), if that matters. Thanks!

See this page. It says that transfers usually have around a 3.2 on their prereqs.

Thank you, I didn't catch that when looking around on their website.

Is there any particular reason Baylor doesn't seem to be as hard to get into as most of the other traditional BSN programs in Texas (TWU, UT, etc)?

Maybe its the high tuition rate?

I think another reason is that the main campus and nursing school are in different places. If you wanted to go in as a freshman pre-nursing major, that would mean two years in Waco and two in Dallas.

A&M's medical school is like that (basic sciences in College Station and last two yrs in Temple) and I've often wondered if that didn't discourage a lot of applicants.

Does Baylor offer a RN to BSN/MSN program?

I looked on their website for this as well. It says all students must go through their whole BSN program.

For myself, it would require STATS and a few religion classes before applying. So, I'll stick with UT-Arlington. (I only have STATS to go for that RN-BSN bridge!)

Maybe by the time I'm ready for it, they'll offer all of the classes online.

You would think they would have a RN-BSN bridge program. There's many RN's that they could get money from.

You've taken the religion classes? I've had 3 Spanish classes. I just found out that SPAN 2312 is now offered online. So, I'm going to pull my "Destino" videos & books to review before taking that last class....whenever that may be. (Next summer, maybe.)
