Any current Mclennan Community College ADN students?

I am attempting to transfer from another ADN program to MCC. I am relocating to that area and am trying to make a decision between driving 2.5 hours (one way) or remaining in my current program. Any feedback regarding overall satisfaction with the program and clinical sites would be appreciated. I don't seem to get much information from the staff at MCC at this time because I have not completed the NET exam (scheduled) and am not officially admitted.

Also, do you find that the communication from staff/instructors is adequate to provide a smooth transition for a new student? In my current program, the students who were new transfers found it challeging because there was little support from instructors. They were routinely advised to speak with their peers to bring them up to speed on expectations. I don't necessarily mind doing that, but it is not optimal.

Again, any information would be appreciated.

Thanks
