I'm finally in a position to start looking for my first RN job. I went to a hospital I was interested in and visited the HR department hoping to get information from the recruiter about possible opportunities regarding jobs and/or internships.
Well, for one, there were no nurse recruiters. Secondly, the head of the HR told me to just apply online and to not send any hard copy resumes.
Are all hospitals doing this now? I realize this was just one hospital, but do I need to just apply online and hope someone will respond?
It takes the personal aspect out of applying. I like to talk to a
person. It seems like this is the accepted way of doing business now.
