ADN programs that don't require an entrance exam.

Does anyone know of any ADN programs in Texas that don't require an entrance exam? I am willing to do a waiting list if needed.

Thanks

I think they all have them, and they are pretty basic and remedial. At least the HESI exam that I took was. Is there are reason you are looking for a school without an entrance exam?

get use to them, exams will be your middle name for a long, long time and they are necessary even if you get so tired off them you are endangered of committing murder and mayhem..you will be the nurse that you would like to see taking care of someone you love

San Antonio College is a community college that doesn't require an entrance exam. You have to have a very high GPA on your pre-req's to get in, though.

Well I am a little nervous about the exam. I wasn't sure how hard it was. If it's just the basic stuff then I'm sure I can handle it. I am going to apply and take the test to see how I do. I might be just be getting myself worked up for nothing. Thanks for the info!!

Though I don't reside in Texas,I too was very apprehensive about having to take an entrance test but I found out mine was the HESI A2 which is just basic stuff that you learned in high school such as math, reading, vocab and grammar. So some tests really aren't much to worry about, just ask the schools you're considering what subjects they test on.
