Thank You "Allnurses.com"

Hey Everyone,
I guess I joined this forum about 3 years ago. I was totally lost about what I was going to do with my life, since I was having trouble getting into pharmacy school. So I did some research about medical professions and I landed on this site. Thanks to this forum and the people on here, I found out about accelerated nursing programs and I jumped on the opportunity. So I guess 3 years later, I am about to graduate from Stony Brook's 1 year nursing program.

If it wasn't for this forum and all the information that everyone provided I don't know where I would be right now. I recommend people to this forum all the time to get info. It was the best decision I have ever made in my life to become a nurse. So I just wanted to say Thank You!

Ken

Congratulations, Ken! It must be so exciting to be on the verge of graduating.

I agree about how valuable allnurses is. Had I not had my beloved allnurses friends, I would have quit nursing school during a really low point in the first semester.

Amazing how powerful an internet board can be, isn't it? It's also fun and rewarding to see members come full-circle from nursing student, to novice nurse, then experienced nurse.

Enjoy your upcoming graduation!!!

Yes, I too have to say thanks to allnurses.com. This site has helped me through some tough times. Enough though I will never work as an RN again, it has helped me remain in touch with nursing at a distance. Good thread!

Thanks to all the Mods, Staff,Guides and Brian who make it all happen.

Even though I changed my major from nursing I'm still happily addicted to this site so I still come on a lurk around and occasionally post. I love this site. My bestfriend whom I think would make an absolutely good nurse applied for the program(this will be her second time applying) and they will post the results on Tuesday (Mar 24) so cross your fingers for her!!
