Moving to Nashville, TN

  1. I am new to this website but I have read several posts that were enlightening about Nashville hospitals. I have worked in Labor and Delivery for a couple years now and am looking at staying in the same field. We are looking to move after the holidays, in order to help my unit out while we have crazy holiday schedules going on. Anyway, does anyone have thoughts/opinions/experiences concerning women's health units at any of the hospitals in the Nashville area? I have read the websites of Tristar Centennial, St Thomas Midtown, and Vanderbilt. I think my husband and I would like to live in Nashville proper, although I know there are more options with a short commute.
Happy (almost) Thanksgiving to you all!

If you live in the West End you will be close to Vanderbilt. Most of the homes are older, craftsman style but there are newer styles as well. That end of town has loads of things to do. It is also within a reasonable distance to downtown. I am not familiar with the hospitals in regards to staffing.
