Looking for answers

Hello,
In May I will graduate from LPN school in Kansas and afterwards I will be moving to Tennessee, somewhere between Nashville and Jackson.
What is the pay scale for new LPN? How do I go about getting IV certified and how long does it take?
Someone here said Tennessee is a compound state and you could work in different states if you get license in tennessee(never heard that before) any information would be appreciated.
