So,I took a class at this place and saw some new graduates working as a nurse without having a license.

Some states allow graduate nurses (GNs) to secure employment before becoming licensed. I am in Texas, which is one of the states that allows GNs to work before becoming fully licensed RNs.

PA does as well...when you register for the NCLEX you get an ATT (authorization to test) and a Temporary practice permit#...which doesn't change when you pass, it just changes online from GN to RN...

When I first moved to TN after graduating in Florida I got a job as a GN but couldn't do anything but assess and chart until I passed boards.
