Hi everyone. Now that the official October 15th deadline for submitting the application packet has passed, is anyone sitting on pins and needles like me?? I just learned that they would contact us via phone if we are accepted.

Does anyone know when they will start calling the people who are accepted? I tried asking the ever so pleasant lady :confused: that answers the phone in the Nursing department and she didn't have answers to any of my questions.

Ok... I chose Mon-Wed 5-7 w/ Friday clinicals and I was trying to see if there were any fellow posters with me. :)

I am in class Mon-Wed 5-7 but they wouldn't let me in the Friday clinicals so I went with Saturday!

I'm in the Mon-Wed 5-7 class. Unfortunately, by the time I could get there, all they had left were clinicals that were TBA. So I still have no idea which day my clinical is...ugh. Although any day is fine...just hate not knowing.

Nice to know there are a couple more with me!! :yeah: So how does that work with the TBA clinicals. Do they have a certain time to notify you, or will you find out in orientation?

Hey if anyone still needs the CPR/AED through AHA I just took it tonight in the instructor's home. She was easy to schedule a time with, friendly and professional. It was only $50! Her name is Kimi Meza; home phone 901-854-6376 and her email is [email protected]. She lives in Collierville, but I think her availability overrides the distance for me. :up:

How long was her class? I am scheduled for this Sat from 8-12 but if I can get something shorter, I will do it.

I got there about 6 and was out of her home somewhere between 8 and 8:30ish. :D

As far as I know, they will tell those of us with TBA clinicals which day we get at orientation. She said it could be fri sat or sun...luck of the draw. Made no sense to me. But I guess so they can even out the clinicals if people change their minds and don't end up going maybe?? Who knows.
