Thanks serendipity47. The info TTU is really helpful. 100% NCLEX Pass rate and amazing instructors at affordable cost are tempting me. Anyone please advise me about Motlow Community College. I really appreciate your help.

MTSU is great and Murfreesboro isn't far from Nashville. However, I probably wouldn't go there if I already had a degree bc the program is 5 semesters and I think a lot of others are only 4.

I also went to MTSU. It was great! It is 5 semesters, but the 5th semester is alot ALOT less stressful than the other semesters and allows you to do alot my community based clinicals. Overall I enjoyed my time there and would go back if I had to do it over again.

The 5th sem has recently changed a little. There will not be a leadership clinical anymore. There is now a capstone course that will start this fall. It is still in the making so I'm not sure how it will work. Sounds like it will be picking a speciality and doing precepted clinicals at various hospitals in middle TN.

I am in the Motlow program right now, end of my first year. Motlow is a 2 year ADN program and it is great. You have to have completed A&P I and A&P II and take the HESI exam. You will have to complete other classes during the program also, so it might be good to get your prerequisites before so you do not overload your course work. Anyways, you will take 4 main nursing courses, 1 each semester. Each consist of lecture, lab, seminars, and clinicals every semester. I'm not going to lie, it's hard. But you will learn a lot and be able to apply your knowledge in clinicals and labs.

Makes more sense then following around a Nurse Manager. I got to follow around the nurse educator and loved it tho.

See, I forgot about those CrazyGoonLPN mentioned, there are truely a LOT of places around Nashville, if you live there and they are an easy commute. Motlow is good from what I hear. I got accepted yesterday (YEA!!!) at Aquinas, which in IN Nashville in the Belle Meade area...which is beautiful and safe. Good luck!
I was told that Aquinas students do some clinicals at Kindred Hospital in Nashville. Have you been there? If so, what was your impression of it? I'm just curious because I've had some trouble finding someone who knows anything about that hospital. I have an interview there next week. Thanks! :-)
