Hello! I'm starting my nursing classes in Spring 2013! I'm looking for any students that are starting so we can talk about classes, professors and study groups and study tips!

Well... that bites! I thought more schools would be offering nights and weekends to keep up with the demand of RNs needed due to the passing of the Affordable Health Care Act. I'm surprised to hear Baptist dropped that option. I beleive Southwest still has evening classes, does anyone know of any other schools in the area that offer nights and weekends? I would also consider a LPN avenue through a Bridge Program if there are any LPN evening classes. Thanks!

That's great! I'm not sure if I know anybody taking Microbiology next trimester since ill be in Adult 2. Sorry I couldn't find one for you, maybe next time.
You don't know it, but you just made my day. I attend NW now, did not know about the evening program.
@t Jessie
Did you ever find anyone on here who actually have their courses right along with you? I'm glad that you had the guts to also start a new thread because I was wondering when someone else will talk about recent activities, or experiences ect.. at Baptist. OAN: thanks again.

I haven't! Everybody I talk to at school didn't even know what this forum was! Ugh! Lol
I'm all down for telling my experiences if anyone ask! Cuz I'm going in each semester pretty blank on what happens myself!
Passed my first med-surg exam! So far this semester is looking up and I see alot of experience growth...
Congrats on passing your first med-surge exam !!!!
Yay thanks!!!
That sounds awesome about you passing your first med-surg exam. @t Jessieleleb. When is your expected graduation date? I start my clinicals summer 14. I'll be going into health assessment in the spring though. I would love to hear about your experiences from time to time when you have a chance. It will certainly help me know what the classes are like and what to expect. Since you have started your nursing classes how much time do you spend a day on studying? is more or same as usual? are the professors straightforward on what is going to be on your exam?
