I used to live in Jackson we moved to memphis over the summer... couldn't make me work at the main hospital in jackson. I hate having clinicals there. Miserable. Glad I only have 2 clinicals left. Also the pay here is not too bad, and including shift diff is really nice. and for those out there who have spouse's with perfect benefits that don't need benefits of their own.. really got it going on with the money!

In Jackson? If so, it's headed towards down town. off highland. They are doing a lot of construction. A LOT. They just increased pay there. They do have sign on bonuses. Hefty for night time full time sign on. (two year contract) <-- If im not mistaken. I can speak from patient standpoint and also from clinical standpoint... but it is a bias view. Do not just take my word, speak to others as well. Some of the things that go on aren't the greatest, now yes that happens at all hospitals. The patient standpoint is in regards to my mother she had over 14 surgeries there..(insurance wouldn't pay for the other hospital) Now, it could be that it being my mother, i was overly critical and that already having a slightly negative view of the hospital, and as a nursing student, i was wide eye'd watching and observing everything. Nevertheless, i'm still not going back. Now if you need money.. the sign on... might need to look in to it... seriously...
