I am applying to the nurse residency program winter 2012 at Vanderbilt. Is anybody else applying??:D

Hey, so is mine!...

I actually just got a rejection from University of Colorado after waiting one week post-interview. Even though they told me "you're one of the 10 that made it out of 600 applicants to this unit" it still sucks getting rejected and it makes me think how tough it is out there. I am so very nervous for this interview and I'm afraid of another rejection. I really want this one to work since it's Vanderbilt.

Awesome!! What track are you applying?? Sorry to hear about Colorado. They came to my campus to interview people but I didn't end up going through with the application because it sounded sooo competitive, haha.

I'm interviewing for the Adult Med track. Yeah UCH was tough... The questions I got asked were basic compared to what we might encounter at Vanderbilt. The recruiter told me they took 2 out of 10 they interviewed and he was really trying to put me in as one of them. I'm bummed about it even though I know is far more prestigious. What track are you interviewing with?

I emailed Tracy today to ask her how many people they're interviewing and accepting. Not sure if she'll actually give me a straight answer but do you know this info at all? Anyone else out there know?

Yeah, it would be so amazing to be at Vanderbilt.. I want this so bad! I am afraid for the questions they are going to ask though.

I am interviewing for adult critical care. I have no idea how many people they are interviewing/accepting but if she tells you then let me know!! It seems as though they got 364 applications from the email that some people got, which is less than I expected I guess. So who knows!

Wow it's this Monday? Good luck! Mine's not for another 2 weeks & I'm already nervous, so I totally understand. Where are you coming from? When do you go to Nashville? Keep us posted on your experience!

I really want this job too... Hope we both get it. :D I know how hard it is to find a new grad position out there so getting this would be a complete blessing.

Thanks! I moved to Nashville about three months ago. Where are you coming from? I hope we both get accepted. I'm just so nervous because I want to do well. The job market has been really bad on everyone. I hope things get better and we get jobs.

i have my interview november 3rd. i think that is the last interviewing day too. ahhh im so nervous! ive already had bad nightmares about it.... i want to get in sooo bad!
