Whats the BEST way to do this?

HELLO ALL!! im new on here and i just wanted some quick advice!! "im a nurse-to-be"!! and i am currently living in california and moving to memphis in the fall. My question to you is what is the best way do you think to become a nurse... i decided im gonna go for my lpn since there seems to be alot of good lpn to bsn programs!! ive been looking into southwest community..but its gonna take at least 2 semesters to do my pre reqs...im ready to become a nurse now! or at least start learning to be.. what about the "technology centers"? i dont have a problem getting a diploma(from a technical school) as long as i can use it to get my bsn in the future. should i become a cna while im still in california?? any advice would be helpful!! thank you so much!!

I go to the technology center in Knoxville for the CNA class. My cousin is enrolled in the LPN program at the same school. I'm not sure what the process for transferring certification from Cali to Tenn is, if you have time you could go ahead and get it out there so you'd have more employment opportunities when you get out here. Good luck!!
