Vanderbilt's Nurse Residency Program

Starting checking your e-mails. My interview is set for Oct 19th at 10am for peds. Who is ever going to be up there at that time, I will see you then!!!!

My email was titled for adult track did anyone elses say adult health, medicine, critical care??? When do they decide on those tracks? I sent my email back regarding my dates and times....

They just scheduled me for the 12th of October. I hope to meet some of you there. I'm excited and nervous, I hope I get a job there.

Hello DRobinson85!!! When I recieved the e-mail it stated the Adult Track but did not specify for Critical care, medical etc.... I assume they just interview all the adult track applicants and figure out where to place them. Hmmm not sure about that. Good luck to you!!!!!

Yea I'm out of state too. I can't wait...I'm freakin out a little cause I don't know what to expect and I wish I knew how many received offers for interviews and how my applicants they are going to take so I can see what my chances are.

I think we are all pondering the same things. I'll be flying in from Houston for my interview. From past forums on here seems as though they take about 40% or so. I don't know how many spots are available, surely the economy has taken it's toll. Good luck to all. It would be a life changing event to be accepted into the residency... First choice (critical care) or not. I feel great! I've worked my butt off... We all have. All I can do is be myself and hope it is what they are looking for.
