Hey, I do not know that much about Smyrna, but Murfreesboro is very close to there and they do have a hospital I believe. Most of your large hospitals are in Nashville which is about 30-45 min. away from Smyrna. I live North of Nashville in Hendersonville and love it. We are more like 25-30 min. away from Vandy which is the farthest hospital away from there. I hope that helps some!

There is a new hospital in Smyrna. It's called Stonecrest Medical Center. It's been there for about 2 years now.

Hi! I have lived in Smyrna for quite some time.....there is a hospital in town that they are getting ready to expand. However, it is feasible to work in Nashville. It takes me 20-30 min to get downtown. Hope this helps!

Smyrna was once considered rural but no longer. It has a large regional medical center www.stonecrestmedical.com and many of the benefits of a medium size city. Cost of living is less than neighboring Nashville but only a 20 min commute to the downtown areas. It also about 15 minutes north of Murfreesboro which has plenty of shopping and eating opportunities. Housing in Smyrna ranges from economical to upscale and there is a heavy commuter population for both Nashville and Murfreesboro. Overall not a bad place and the Cost of Living is not too bad. www.townofsmyrna.org Lived there and Murfreesboro for about 4 years and I am in my 3rd year at MTSU in the nursing program. Hope this helps a little.

It's basically turned into another suburb of Nashville. It is a nice town. Very quick commute into the 'big city' by way of I-24. If I lived there, I would probably work in Nashville.
