NICU Nurses In Nashville?

Hi!

I'll be a new grad next month, and I'm currently looking for jobs in neonatal ICUs in or around Nashville. Any NICU nurses out there? What do the job prospects look like in your units? How do you like the hospitals you work for?

I know that job prospects for new grad nurses are generally not looking too good at this moment in time, so I'm wondering what sort of challenges I'll be facing when I move to Nashville.

Thanks a bunch for your input!

Vanderbilt has a NICU. I don't work there, I only have personal "mommy" experience with it. You could check there. THey are a teaching hospital so they may take new grads.

Thanks! I've actually already looked at Vanderbilt, and they only hire new grad nurses through a special program they interviewed for in February.
