Need to know pay rates for Nashville area

Hello,

I am currently looking at possibly moving to the Nashville area and I have tried to find info on current pay rates in the area. Here is my experience:

RN for 5 yrs
Mostly Med/Surg & light Tele, 1.5 years of Oncology
Charge Nurse for the last 1.5 years
Associates degree (BSN in progress)

I would like to get a general idea if possible, please help.

I visited the Nashville area recently for the purpose of relocating, I absolutely love it there!!

Hi there,

I am a new grad, so the pay rates I've been hearing on the low end. Vanderbilt pays $18.50 base, and they are the lowest paying hospital. I have a nursing friend who worked in the Centennial CV-ICU (she had experience) and was offered $26.50. She also did lots of temping in nashville making $30+/hr (but no benefits.) In general, I've heard new grad salaries range from $18-$22. Hope that helps a little!
