I am a prenursing student at volstate community college. I am thinking of switching schools next semester to Motlow community college in Smyrna, tn. I live in Lavergne and volstate is about an hour away. I was just curious to know if anyone has gone there, if it is accredited, and what they thought about it? I do not want to be that far away from home just in case something was to happen to one of my kids. Thanks!

Hey there! I'm graduating from Motlow in MAY!!!! It is an incredible program. Check out the NCELX pass rates on the website. The numbers don't lie. I don't know when they are opening the Smyrna campus as far as the nursing program. I go to the Moore County campus. I will tell you it is extremely tough! But, all graduates will tell you it is worth it. MTMC and other nashville area hospitals love to hire Motlow grads! Make an apt. with the DON Pat Hendrix and review the program!

I haven't attended Motlow but have always heard positive things..as Megan said they have a very good pass rate on the NCLEX.

I am at Motlow in my last semester of prereqs and waiting for acceptance letter. 8 actual class days to go!
