RN007,
I sent you a PM a few days ago. I'm not sure if you received it. I think your PM box is full.

Hey, Heather ..... I'm currently attending LPN school at the Blount site (Alcoa), but it's through Blount Memorial Hospital's PN program, not LMU, so....can't comment on LMU teachers, etc. Wishin' ya luck !!!! I DO have to say that we have great instructors on our side

Congrats!!! I have to agree with some of the other comments. I am currently attending LMU@ the Blount site. I graduate in May 09. (Thank GOD!!!) This school is very disorganized. I would not recommend it to anyone considering nursing school. You are cheated on work that you are required to do just to receive satisfactory or unsatisfactory.I may not be the best person to ask for an opinion on this school. I will be honest with. I just pray that I make it through this semester I am curious to see what they have up their sleeve to surprise us with. Be prepared to have clinicals in Sweetwater.

Hi Heather!

I am now in your shoes for Fall of 09 at LMU. I am wondering if you can give the LMU students attending Blount campus some insight as to what to expect next.. Any info would be awesome.

Thanks,
TJ

Hi Amber,
I'm a LMU 08 grad. My grades were not very good when I applied to LMU, alot of B's and C's on my pre reqs . But I applied any way and was accepted. I say, Go For It!!!! Good Luck!

I would like any information regarding the schedules at LMU, how difficult the Math is, information on Advising session--what actually takes place,, etc. For all the LMU students attending this year this would really be helpful.

Thanks,
TJ

Amber,
I was recently accepted into LMU RN division starting this Fall 09. I am a non-traditional student that has been trying to get into an RN program since completing LPN school. It has actually taken me 2 years to get to this point. I am excited, but somewhat nervous due to being out of school for a while. The admission process was rather simple and my grades ranged from Low B's, high B's to a few A's. The greatest amount of emphasis is put on the pre-reqs and what you have actually completed. Note: if you have not taken any A&P, Microbiology courses, this will weigh on some of the process. Do not give up and do whatever you can to get to the point that you can call yourself an RN. Other people do it, why not you and me?

Thanks,
TJ
