Jackson General/Regional INFO?

I'm very interested at working at either of these hospitals. Does any one have any info such as how it is to work there, patient-nurse ratio, starting salaries for new grad with ADN, the best units to work on...any information about the hospitals in general would be appreciated.

Jackson General is a hospital all to it's own. Jackson Regional is owned by CHS healthcare which is a private corporation. I work for a CHS healthcare hospital. The 2 hospitals are not associated with each other. I interviewed at Jackson General and at the time which was closer to May they were not hiring just asking for interviews. Don't know about now. As for Jackson Regional I'm sure it's just like where I work just bigger. They have more floors. Don't know much about the hiring there. I get good pay as a new grad and got the shift I wanted. The only thing about working for a private hospital is that things change and you usually have no control over the changes.

Oh yeah forgot to tell you that my ratio is 7 patients to 1 nurse. Pretty sure it will be the same at regional.
