Well, it wouldn't hurt to apply to both programs then make a choice if both accept you.

To get an idea about what scores and records help one to get accepted into the program, you might want to talk to a guidance counselor at the school. Otherwise, it is reasonable to expect that the best record you can obtain would be necessary. And don't be surprised to find out that many people with "perfect" records are not accepted, if the program is overloaded with applicants.
