I need Help

by Mel05

I'm an RN student doing a project on the role of the LPN. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find protocols or something that tells me what LPN's are allowed to do in the state of Tennessee? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Nurse Hello and Welcome!
I'm moving this thread to the Tennessee Nursing Forum. Hopefully you'll find the answers needed to your project.

Good luck!

I am a LPN. If you are looking for the scope of practice for a LPN, try going to www.tennessee.gov, and then following the links to get to the nursing forum to find it. I can tell you what all I do but this might be more beneficial. If I can be any help, please let me know.

Go to the board of nursing they will have the guidelines for LPN's in your state.

Hey Mel,

I hope I am not too late, but here is a link that should answer all of your questions: http://www.state.tn.us/sos/rules/1000/1000.htm. Good luck with your report!
