Was wondering because I've been treated like an outsider for the 5 years we have lived in MO. Recently got a diploma in dental assisting. Was told in first interview that I wouldn't fit in with the people of MO. I am a mature woman and can't compete with the eyecandy the dentists seem to want. Wasted money on that course.

Am so ready to leave this place. I think I'm just as good as they are, probably better because I judge a person by their character not where they're from.
Somebody please tell me how the majority of people would see me. I really don't want to jump from the frying pan into the fire. I speak with a country, southern accent, like gardening, have and love my chickens and do not pretend to be something I'm not. Would I have a problem with this if I move to middle TN, go to school and try to get a nursing job? Or do I need to go further south? Thanks to any who reply because I need honest answers.
