how are the lpn classes at memphis technology and what to expect during the program

Where you accepted int the program? Is there a waiting list? I went to Tennessee Tech @ Memphis over 10yrs ago as a Surgical Tech. I finished the program in 95. While in school some of the LPN students had mention it was a hard and fast program. I am in the process of starting the LPN program in East tn. I start in Jan '07? I was very hard to get in this program, there was only 27 seats for over a 1000 applicants and NO waiting LIST!! GOOD LUCK

Hi. I don't know about the classes there but I hopefully will be starting next fall at TN Tech. in Morristown. There is a one year waiting list. I have heard that the class is fast paced but as long as you already have the will to do this everyone says that it will not be a problem. One of the girls I have met has said there are some people in her class that she doesn't know how they even got as far as they did. I told her some people are book smarts and some are more on hands. I am little concerned about the pre entrance test, even though the counselour told me it is just general to see how much you have retained. But still it has been a long time since I was in school other than my CNA training and medical office asst. training. Anyway good luck to you.
