Blount Memorial Hospital LPN program anyone starting this month?

I am starting the BMH LPN program on April 27th. I was just wondering if any one else is planning on going there as well. We could chat a little before the program starts! I am sooooo excited I need someone to share it with!

Congrats on being accepted into the program! I worked at Blount as a LPN a few yrs ago. I didn't go through their LPN program. I worked on 5N Oncology/Med/surg. It was a hard floor, but I learned alot! Welcome to the world of Nursing!

The next one starts in October and they have orientation in July for it. Start checking their website around the middle to end of June to make sure you get to the orientation. It's definitely too late to get into this one. They had orientation back in January and then we had to test, interview, and pass a math test. There were 217 applicants for 22 openings so make sure you study for the CAT test so that you can score high on it. I got a study guide for it on the internet and scored really well. Good luck!!

Hello everyone! I just found about this program, I was planning on going to the program at Tennessee Tech in knoxville, but now I am interested in this program because of the scholarship possibility, does anyone have any advice. I don't qualify for financial aid would that disqualify me from the scholarship? Anyone know what the comparrison is for these two programs and what test they have at Blount?
Hope thats not too many questions!

Thanks,
Rhonda
