Does anyone know what the typical transfer GPA and HOBET score is needed to be accepted at Baptist?

Yeap that is the min requirement. Do you know what the typical GPA and Hobet score that is the threshold.

I have a 3.1 and made a 74 composite on the HOBET I'm not sure if that is good enough to make the cut.

The minimum is a 60 on both the math and the reading sections. I'm not in the program yet but I am applying there for the spring! I would try in june, but I want to get my GPA up to about a 3.2! But I'm sure you will get in the program with those scores!

If you are a transfer student, plan on little to none of your credits transferring to Baptist. I have a B.A. and a M.S. and they only accepted 18 hours. And they denied my one undergrad and two graduate level psych classes in lieu of their one psych requirement. Plus, I have a minor in English and they wouldn't accept any of my English classes for their one English requirement. Obviously, I only spent one semester there.

Yes really. Why would I make that up? Maybe it's more of an issue for those of us who already have degrees. But everyone I spoke to who already had a degree from somewhere else had the same issues I did.

Hello, I'm new to this board. My name is Amy. I have read lots of information that was very helpful to me as a nursing student and now as a nurse. I have been a RN for a bit over a year. I graduated from the evening/weekend program at Baptist. My BSN was my second degree. My first degree is in biology. Anyway, all my sciences were too old so I had to re-take them. But they were going to require me take algebra when I had had college calculus with my first degree. I challenged this decision with the registrar (challenge is not exactly the right word but I'm having a moment & can't think of the word...lol). Anyway, when I talked to the registrar, she said I needed to provide a copy of the description of the calculus course. It was accepted in lieu of algebra so one less class. Sorry so lenghty. If you have any other ques, feel free to ask.
