Baptist College Of Health Sciences!!!

I just got accepted into the nursing program with clinicals starting in spring 2011 with ONLY 5 prereqs remaining !!!
A couple of questions for anyone gracious enough to answer! Thanks in ADvAnce!!!

1. can i sit out and still keep my spot for clinicals once i complete the 5 prereqs
2. i signed up for tuition deferral, so what type of questions do they ask
3.
i recieved an acceptance to the charles w. baker scholarship and it says it will be disbursed in spring and summer 2010, but my plan doesn't include summer '10 since i only need 5 prereqs...will the give the other half in fall?

Thank you Peeps!!! I am so excited grateful and nervous!!
any responses and or comments on the school and environment would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Thumbs up Re: Baptist College Of Health Sciences!!!
Congrats on your acceptance to BCHS! It is a great school, you are going to enjoy your time there. You are able to take summers off until clinicals but I am not sure about Spring/Fall as far as "holding" your place. Since you have 5 prereqs, perhaps you can just spread them out until your clinicals start. I mean, if your clinical start date is in Spring '11 then you will be taking Health Assessment and Intro to Prof Nursing in the fall of 10 so even though it seems like a long time, if you take next summer off it should work out just perfect for you.

Also, another option is look into their healthcare management classes if you need to take more hours for financial aid/scholarship reasons.

As far as the tuition deferrment program, you wont interview for that until the semester before clinicals. I have not done it but from what I hear it is typical of a job interview of sorts. You know questions like "Are you flexible/willing to work at any of our locations?" etc. Of course your GPA is taken into consideration too.

The scholarship thing is something the financial aid office would have to tell you but I dont see why they wouldnt hold it until the fall.

Again, good luck and congrats!!
