Anybody working in Dyersburg, TN?


Hello all! My dear brother is trying very hard to get me to move to Dyersburg, TN.....swears that the nursing salaries are excellent.....so I'm attempting to either prove or disprove his claims...all information will be very much appreciated!

Hmm would be curious to know that myself. I have thought about checking out the area but it is a pretty long drive for me and I wouldn't expect them to pay that well.
The majority of the jobs I've had have been in Memphis and tend to pay a good bit better than what I've been offered elsewhere. The drive would be about the same either way for me.

I actually work in Dyersburg. It was the only place that was hiring new grads. The pay is good and it's pretty close to what you are going to get in Memphis. Most hospitals in Memphis aren't really hiring new grads but most rural hospitals are hiring new grads. It's a start

Thanks for replying! Here in Birmingham, RN new grads start around 19-20 hourly...is it comparable there?
