by Amy1989

I am 20 and I was homeschooled my whole life so I didn't get the proper schooling like I wanted. I mainly just learned how to read and write but I won't to farther my life to something that's going to help others I wanna be a rn so bad but I'm so worried I'm not smart enough to do the work or past test i have a fear of going to school for rn just because I don't think I'm smart enough but I won't to make something out of my life and I was just wondering does anybody else feel this way? And I also wondering how does the online program work at southwest I think it is? The 2 year rn? I know it's not all online but is alot of it online? And is it easy to find a job for a 2 year rn or does everyone look for a 4 year rn ? I wanna go for 2 then go back later for 4 year! And one last qus around how much does a 2 year rn make a year compred to 4 year? Thanks for any help u can give me I wanna try to start asap but I'm so scared I can't bring my self to it I haven't even took my act cuz I'm worried I won't pass it! Please don't think I'm crazy for these qus! Thanks so much for anyhelp

Hi I have not ever been homeschooled but I did teach my children at home for the earlier years of school. I wish you wouldn't put yourself down so much. If you have a true desire to become a nurse then you will do whatever it takes to become one. Yeah it will be hard at times but it will all be worth it in the end. Just trust GOD to see you through. You will never know what you are capable of if you just keep wondering and not do anything about it. I am currently getting ready to go back to school to become an RN. I am trusting GOD to help me through.
