? about student nursing in TN

I am in danger of failing for the second time, this will kick me out of the programs that Tn Board of regents have.

What are my options of becoming a nurse ,, a private school,

Or should I become a EMT-P??

I don't recall a background check having been done when I first applied for my license. That was 11 years ago - things may have changed since then.

Ebonygirl,

I am sorry, but I don't remember how far back they went. My advice would be to ask the Dean of your nursing program.

Sorry that I couldn't help more.

I think its a long ways back. A lot of girls in our program had MIP's(minor in possession) alcohol or what have you, and they all had to fill out specific paperwork for that charge. Needless to say, they all were approved to sit for the boards, so just b/c you have a record doesnt mean you wont get approved, I think it just takes longer, more money, and an indept research of your history. I think its called a declatory form?
