Let the Patient speak for their selves!
- 0Jan 2, '10 by Jerry 75Family members should learn to shut up and stop trying to tell the Patient what to say. They can answer fine on their own. After all the Patient knows what hurts not the family member budding in, in the background prompting the Pt. and telling the Pt. what hurts.
I am not talking about Alzheimer Pt. or anyone with any mental impairment but alert, coherent Patients. Sometimes I have to speak to the family member and let them know that they are interupting the call and to be quiet
