It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. You will probably love it if you don't mind being on the phones. We don't have to wear headsets or anything and it's laid back, voicemails can be left and will be returned. Not alot of pressure, other than to notify the physician of any issues that are presented.

AAACN (ambulatory care nurses association) used to offer certification and still offer recert to members. You can get certified now as an ambulatory care nurse which includes triage in the curriculum. I highly recomend Carol Rutenenberg's course and her book. They are both very good.
