by DawnCaprice Dec 6, '11Hello everyone,
I am new to this site. I am going to be taking the TEAS tomorrow and I am more nervous than I thought I would be. I have been out of school for over 20 years and am not even sure how to study anymore.
Do most people pass the whole test the first time around?
Thanks for any words of encouragement or help.

- Dec 6, '11 by NicholePC13I took the test and did really well on everything except Reading Comprehension! LoL. Those paragraphs were so boring and I ran out of time. I think you should have more time on the Reading & Math sections, but it seems you have less times on those. All in all, it wasn't too bad. I'm going to retake the test though...then maybe I'll have the courage to tell people my score.

- Dec 6, '11 by UMDNJ-SNThe TEAS stands for Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS®). This is a multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science and English and language usage. The objectives assessed on the TEAS exam are those which nurse educators feel are the most appropriate and most relevant to measure the entry level skills and abilities of incoming nursing students. There is a study manual if you would like to purchase on the ATI website. http://www.atitesting.com/ati_store/...aspx?zpid=1168
Best wishes!
