Practice Tests, Personal Experiences

Well that was...."interesting" ..... The first time I took the practice test I feel like I did great on Reading and Math, while doing horribly on Science and Language. Well NOW, I feel like I did horribly on reading and math, and I did way better on science and language! Ok so here is the comparison:

Reading: 71.4 to 76.2

Math: 76.7 to 46.7 (wasn't paying attention to detail!)

Science: 33.3 to 58.3

Language: 60 to 66.7

I went from 58% to 62.8%

I really don't understand the scores are calculated, but I feel it was a huge improvement! The first test I took on May 15th, and the second I took today (11/24) When I first took the test I was right out of College Algebra, but hadn't yet taken any science courses. Now I've taken A&P 1&2, Chem 1&2 so I feel like the science portion was MUCH easier this time, seriously, minor brushing up and I think I will be fine! After the first test I immediately went through the entire book (not the 2 tests at the back) and then I stopped studying and took all of my classes. I did take one paper practice test in the back of the book recently and felt I did much better on the math there. So, I scheduled to take the Teas V on December 19th. I will go through the entire book one more time and take the final paper practice test closer to the actual test date. And I will brush up on my sciences with Khan Academy videos. That is my game plan, hoping to walk away with at least an 80%
