Nursing Students TEAS

Since ATI provides no student assistance to interpret scores, let's help each other! If enough of us enter our complete TEAS scores, we'll be able to compare notes to see how we rank in different programs, what to aim for if your school requires a Program percentile rank rather than a series of scores, etc. There is another thread where people are sharing their scores, but it looks like most people are just sharing their Adjusted Individual Total Score or whatever applies to their particular school. By sharing all the info, we can help each other better.

Please copy the scores below and then change them to your own, in your post! thanks! Please make sure to check your Program Type! It's right under the name of the school where you took it, on your score sheet.

Hi everyone,

I recently took the teas exam and scored 80.0. I have a 3.7 GPA. I scored great on reading, math, english but my science score was low. I heard that they just consider your overall score, but I am not to sure about that. Should I retake it? Should I just leave it alone?. I am applying for the September deadline. Currently the mean -national is 64.3, Mean- program 64.9, Percentile Rank-national 88 and Percentile Rank-Program 89. What should I do? Please help. Thank you.

Hi everyone,

I recently took the Teas V exam at MDC medical campus. I scored an 80.0. I have a 3.7 GPA. I did very good on all subjects but got a 64 on the science part. I applied for the Generic full and partime for spring. I am worried. Does anyone know if they only consider the overall grade or they go by subjects or both? Please help.. Thank you.

I bought the ATI study guide and studied it religiously.

I had a paramedic friend sit down and tutor me in chemistry until I understood it better.

During the test I used all my time up, the first time I rushed through it (was done in 1.5 hours).

Visited the library and got books on reading comprehension (to practice), biology and chemistry (to study), and algebra (to practice).

I went into the test - READY TO KICK BUTT!.

I mean I know my score isn't HIGH-HIGH (I've seen people say my score was low), but I am happy with my 80.7%! It was a huge jump for me considering my first score. I had 3 months in between each exam... and I was only expecting to get in the 70's. So when I saw my 80% I was ecstatic!!!

This is my first post, i figure with all the help this forum has given i should give back!

I always scored high 90's on the English practice tests so just a heads up its more difficult on the real thing.

Check out the free TEAS app on google play store if you have an android, there were practice questions directly off of the science section that i COULDNT find in the book : )

Other than that thanks again everyone for all the posts, they really helped take the edge off the TEAS V!

I borrowed the ATI Study Guide from the campus library, and bought the McGraw-Hill "5 Practice TEAS Exams". The more practice you get, the better prepared you will be. Practice, practice, practice...
