This was my 2nd and 3rd score. The first time I took the TEAS, I only studied for Math and got a 82.7%, then I studied everything and took as many practice exams as I could, and scored a 92% on my second try. I tried to do better for the 3rd time, but for some reason I got the same score. It was disappointing because I thought I would do better, but oh well...a 92% was enough to get my accepted into my school of choice. My recommendation: use the ATI TEAS book as well as any TEAS books in your local library. Some libraries, like mine, have a database of practice exams for various tests and I took those to help prepare for the real thing.

First try. Not as high as I would have liked, but high enough to apply to the program. :)

Took it last night. Studied from the Crash Course book and took a couple practice tests from McGraw Hill. I think the ATI book seemed more challenging and closer to the real thing, so that's what I'd recommend for any future test takers.

Just took my test. Did not study at all, intending to retake in thirty days if I didn't do well.

The program type on my teas v is wrong but it's the same teas v I took a couple of weeks ago. I'm confused and I never chose the ADN program type. Please help.

Hi everyone,

The program that I'll be applying to in March requires that I beat the overall national average, as well as the national averages for Reading and Math. I've seen that the overall national average currently stands at 64.3%. Can anyone post the current national averages for the Reading section and the Math section? I'd really, really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!!

I really want to take the TEAS again because I didn't study much. I scored decent but I really wanted to break 90% and I know I can if I review. Any advice?

I think I did terrible on the TEAS test. This was my first attempt ever with the TEAS. I took it on Dec. 20, 2014 at the official ATI testing site at CSULA. Despite my not-so-great score, I honestly think that the TEAS was quite easy. I think people over hype the difficulty of this test. I took this without studying, so I feel that competent prospective nurses who put in at least 1-2 weeks of studying prior to the test can score 90%+ with no problem. I have just registered for a second attempt with the TEAS test at the same location on Jan. 31, 2015. This time, I will be aiming to hopefully score 95%+ total A.I.S. Good luck to everyone and study hard! But try not to let what people say about the TEAS test intimidate you!

Protip: If you wish to have a higher Science A.I.S. score on your TEAS test, finish all science prerequisite classes (basic/intro biology, basic/intro chemistry anatomy, physiology, and microbiology) before testing. Schedule to test as soon as you finish your last science class so that your science knowledge is still fresh.

I was scored down A LOT in my English. My lowest individual score was 77.8% and the other 2 were in the 80's. I don't understand how it got dropped so low. Can anyone explain?
