Thank you for your encouraging words Lady T. They mean a lot to me.

Jet Fuel: I'm sorry to hear about your situation but there is some money coming in and your work schedule is flexible. I guess when you think about it, things could always be worse. Just hang in there and when you're done, and you're making all that money, this will all be just bad memory.

I just finished nursing school in May and am about to begin my new job Wednesday. I truly understand the struggles and feel such relief it is over. I have a 3yr old and a 12yr old (both boys). I know about not being able to study the way you feel you need to. Also, my advise is to get NCLEX books and study with those as much as possible. They were a life saver.

Hey I just finished LPN school and I too put life on hold when attending.I am working but getting a lot of negativity from RN's. Why the heck is that?

I'm so proud of all the single mothers in my nursing program. They all excel and do better than the students who have no responsibilities and live at home with their parents. One student in particular has a 5 year old and an 11 month old child. She's an inspiration. She was always late for everything, but she was always there studying and working like a dog. She's a true inspiration. She's going into her final year. I'm so proud of her! You can do it too.
