  2. I am 53 and i have been a nurse for 2 years. I am a hospice nurse. I got a BSN in 14 months and made the national nursing honor society, sigma theta tau. I love my career and I am so glad it chose me at this stage of my life. I am blessed

  3. Congratulations on your success. I have been an LPN for the last 28 years. Now at the age of 57, I've decided to pursue my RN degree. I hope I can be as successful as you are.

  6. I began chipping away at core curriculum classes at our local community college at age 48 in Aug 2007 and graduated with my ASN in Dec 2010. I LOVE being a nurse, and I tell people all the time, "I am proof; it's NEVER too late!" Thanks so much for sharing your story.

  8. YOU certainly can! No one will tell you it will be easy but it is definitely doable with the right dedication and will power!!!
